First Saturday Art Reception

Join Elk Grove Fine Arts Center for an opening reception featuring, A Plein Air Collection by Rob Bonslett.

Artist Rob Bonslett says of his work, “For over two years I have been creating on location, a body of work using brush, pencil, and paint, one of Elk Grove’s finest treasures, the parkway that skirts Laguna Creek to the east of SR 99. A vast array of flora and fauna await outdoor enthusiasts of all forms. The creek runs year round in the area, where many species of migrating waterfowl stop by as well as score of indigenous songbirds. Fishing birds, reptiles, and many mammals have kept up residence in the beautiful parkway, where they are easily spotted in this rich natural environment.”
