Folk and Poetry Benefit for Homeless Women and Children

Join Luna’s Cafe in Midtown Sacramento for a benefit concert by talented local poets and musicians who will donate their time and effort for Sacramento homeless women and children. All proceeds go to The Godmothers (Las Madrinas) a local organization dedicated to serving the needs of homeless women and children by providing much needed clothing, diapers, formula, wipes, and other special needs.

For formula donations, the greatest need is for Enfamil Infant 0-12, Enfamil AR, and Enfamil Pro Sobee. These are some of the formulas provided by WIC for only a portion of the month and baby tummies don’t always tolerate frequent formula changes.

Bring a package of diapers or a can of formula and receive a raffle ticket to win a “Thank You Prize” at the end of the evening!
