Gold Spike Lecture: Experiences of Chinese Railroad Worker

Gordon H. Chang will deliver an important lecture about the recovery and interpretation of the Chinese railroad works who were instrumental in the building of the Transcontinental Railroad. Chang is an Olive H. Palmer Professor in the Humanities, Professor of American History at Stanford University, and author of Ghosts of Gold Mountain: The Epic Story of the Chinese Who Built the Transcontinental Railroad (to be released May 2019).
