Healthy Kids Day

Awaken Summer Imagination at Healthy Kids Day! Bring a picnic blanket or chairs and grab a seat in front of the stage on the field to participate in free family fitness workshops and watch performances from local youth groups.

Family Fitness Workshops Schedule
-10am: Family Zumba with Jackie
-10:30am: Childcare site performance
-10:45am: Childcare site performance
-11am: Family Yoga with Gary
-11:30am: Hula Lesson with Michelle
-11:45am: Childcare site performance
-Noon: Childcare site performance
-12:30pm: Childcare site performance

Other activities include:
-Childcare Art Show: Winners will be revealed at the Childcare Art Show on the upper basketball court. Admire your child’s artwork and share it with the whole family.
-Water Play: Splash and learn in our water play science area.
-Face Painting: Choose from a variety of designs and get your face painted for Free!
-Obstacle Course: Run, jump, crawl, get the little ones active by going through the obstacle course. See if you can beat your time each time you go through!
-Basketball Skills and Drills: Sacramento Kings coaches will be onsite to test basketballs skills and run some fun drills on the lower basketball court.
-Vendor Booths: Sacramento Fire Department Fire Engine will be onsite in the morning. Kaiser Permanente will have giveaways and information about healthy living. Sacramento Children’s Museum will have interactive activities.
-Food: Raley’s healthy snacks available.
-Arts and Crafts: Get crafty and decorate some elaborate thank you cards for the YMCA.
-STEM Activities:Engage your child’s mind in an engineering challenge activity. Stop by the STEM Activity booth on the field to participate.
