With local herbalist, Toni Riehle, you will dive into the world of herbalism and explore the medicinal qualities of some of the most beloved herbs. You’ll learn how to make an herbal chocolate that’s not only delicious but healthy too! Next up, you’ll create a deeply nourishing and soothing herbal body oil that will leave your skin feeling soft and supple. You’ll delve into the formulation process, discussing the different oils and herbs that will work best for your unique skin type. Finally, you’ll concoct an herbal room and body spray that will uplift and refresh your senses.

You’ll explore the aromatic qualities of various herbs, discussing the benefits of each one and how they can work together to create a beautifully scented spray custom to your liking. Throughout the workshop, they’ll have plenty of time for questions and discussion, ensuring that you leave with a thorough understanding of the herbs and their properties. And you’ll get to take home your handcrafted custom herbal spray, so you can continue to indulge in the aromatic benefits. This workshop is the perfect way to show your mom some love this Mother’s Day or to treat yourself to a fun and nourishing experience.

Toni Riehle is a passionate herbalist based in Sacramento. With a love for nature and a deep desire to empower her local community, Toni has dedicated her time to studying and practicing herbal medicine. She graduated from Berkeley Herbal Center’s three-year clinical herbalist program and continues to expand her knowledge through The Common Wealth School.

Currently, Toni is starting her own local company in Sacramento called Chloris, with a focus on sexual health. Through workshops, products, one-on-one consultations, and retreats, Toni aims to share her knowledge of herbal wisdom with others and help them to appreciate and connect with the healing powers of nature.

Toni’s enthusiasm for herbal medicine is contagious. She loves making medicine, hiking, hosting themed parties, moon gatherings, and leading plant walks to help others discover the joys and benefits of community and together redefine what is natural medicine. With her kind and compassionate approach, Toni is committed to helping her community discover the healing potential of plants and live healthier, happier lives.
