Hypertufa Planter Workshop

In this hands-on workshop taught by Sacramento County Master Gardeners, you will make a lightweight planter that looks like rustic natural stone with the hypertufa technique. These versatile containers are perfect for planting succulents, cactus, herbs, or cascading flowers. Technical discussion will include recommendations on types of potting soils and planting tips. You will take home the 12” planter that you make in the class.

This adult class is held outside under the trees at the Horticulture Center. All the supplies you need are provided; just bring your apron!
