International Archaeology Day at Maidu Museum

Come by the Maidu Museum for some family fun on International Archaeology Day. There will be special children’s activities for kids of all ages. Stop by for a special Archaeology Tour to get a up close and personal look at several archaeological features on site. In the afternoon, the Sacramento Archaeological Society lecture series will present: “Archaeobotany in California: Exciting Things Learned from the Artifacts of Everyday Life” by Eric Wohlgemuth and”Warrior Women of Central California” by Al Schwatala.
