La Fiesta de Frida: An Exhibition of Chicano Art
Check out this exhibition of orginal work by some of California's most important Chicano artists including Juana Alicia, Sonya Fe, Luis Jimenez, and the Montoya and Villa families on loan from the private collection of Sacramento collector, David Bischoff. The Bischoff collection is one of the most extensive of Chicano art in the state. Featured among the pieces is the iconic image of Frida, a 23 by 17-1/2 in. silkscreen by artist Rupert Garcia created in 1975.
