Parkway Connect: What Autumn Leaves Can Teach Us

Join American River Parkway Foundation for the first free monthly event for the Parkway CONNECT program. Each month, a new fun activity and location will be featured.

An American River Parkway Foundation program, Parkway CONNECT, aims to bring families closer to the Parkway to enjoy its beauty and recreational activities.

The American River Parkway is a scenic green space accessible to everyone. The foundation is committed to breaking down the barriers that are preventing people from enjoying this beautiful parkland. It strives to increase accessibility to the Parkway and encourage more people to visit and explore its natural beauty.

As a part of Parkway CONNECT, the foundation has created flyers in multiple languages to make it easier to learn about the Parkway. It has also partnered with other non-profit organizations, such as Lao Family Community Development and CASA Sacramento, to provide free Parkway Parking Passes to families who might not have access otherwise.

We want to extend our special thanks to the Kelly Foundation for their generous grant of $50,000, which will help purchase 12 bikes for Parkway CONNECT families to use and enjoy the Parkway.
