Photograph Your Work

Improve your photography skills during this one-day workshop with professional photographer, James Morrison. This session will cover an overview discussion of tips to successfully capture great shots of artwork in a variety of mediums and settings. There will be a demonstration of techniques to consider when photographing artwork for your online portfolio, social media, and exhibit submissions. Participants are welcome to bring their own camera and or smartphone with camera, tripod, laptop, one piece of your art to photograph, paper, and pen to take notes.

Topics will include lighting, camera angles, composition, color balance, exposure, cropping, image resolution, and file types.
