Sacramento County Adult and Aging Commission's 5 Over 50 Awards

This celebration is targeted to spotlight our older achievers through Sacramento County Adult and Aging Commission’s inaugural “5 Over 50” awards. One recipient per district will be awarded for enriching his/her community. County Supervisors, Adult and Aging Commissioners and county services assisting older adults will be available to share information on developments and offerings to help residents.

The evening will be topped off with Sacramento Aging2.0 Chapter’s 4^th “Innovation in Aging” Pitch Competition with 5 high-tech and/or “high-touch” solutions.  There will be a “Judges Award” and an “Audience Award.”  The Judges’ Award recipient will be offered an opportunity to participate in a “usability session” at Caregiver Pathways’ “Care Partnership Day” on October 19.

Professional UX (user experience) design techniques will be applied with a user group to collect meaningful feedback and provided to the entrepreneur to improve his/her solution.
