Sacramento State Farm-to-Fork Bites on the Bridge (Sold Out)

The Sac State Farm-to-Fork event, featuring sustainable, locally sourced ingredients, will be planned, prepared, and served by Sacramento State students in Professor Kelly Thompson’s Food Production & Sustainability course. Small plates and desserts will be provided; beer and wine will be also be offered. This year’s food theme is “Tastes of the World.” A variety of dishes from around the globe will be offered. While we cannot meet special dietary requests, each guest will have the ability to choose from several offerings.

Event proceeds to benefit the Sac State Bioconversion and Agricultral Collaborative (BAC Yard). The BAC Yard exists to reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions at Sac State through composting and sustainable agriculture methods. Student sustainability projects will be displayed along the bridge during the event.

The group will be dining outside on the Guy West Bridge over the American River. Business casual attire appropriate to current weather forecasts.
