Hailed by the New York Times for their "explosive vigor and technical prowess," the Miró Quartet were the first ensemble ever to be awarded the coveted Avery Fisher Career Grant. Their program will comprise Haydn's "Sunrise" Quartet, Kevin Puts's "Credo" and the Beethoven's String Quartet No. 8, Op. 59, No. 2.
