Sacramento Summer Music Virtual Festival of Concerts

The Sacramento Baroque Soloists, in collaboration with the VITA Academy’s Great Composers Chamber Music Series and Sacramento Guitar Society, will present a series of concerts to bring our performers and audiences together in a virtual setting, through video concerts and live conversation.

Concerts and Conversations Schedule:

Thursday, August 27 (7pm):
-Great Composers Chamber Music Series (Bach, Beethoven, and Kodaly) with cellist Susan Lamb Cook, violinist Nancy Wu, violist Cassandra Lynne Richburg, and violinist Dagenais Smiley

Friday, August 28 (7pm):
-Sacramento Guitar Society featuring Sean O’Connor, Michael Silva, Matthew Grasso, and others plus the Sacramento and Davis Guitar Orchestra

Saturday, August 29 (7pm):
-Sacramento Baroque Soloists performing concertos and sonatas of Corelli, Telemann, and Vivaldi

Sunday, August 30 (2pm):
-Great Composers Chamber Music Series featuring “Rising Stars of Chamber Music” performing works by Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Glière, Amy Beach, Reszö Sugár, Beethoven, William Grant Still, and Rossini
