A prodigy in the true sense of the word -- he won four All-Ireland Championships on four different instruments by the age of 14 -- Seamus Egan was the founding member of the seminal band Solas. As a composer, he was behind the soundtrack for the award-winning film The Brothers McMullen and co-wrote Sarah McLachlan’s “Weep Not for the Memories.” Nowadays, he performs songs from across his career, along with songs he’s neither recorded or performed.
