The Secret Language of Dreams: Exhibit by Claudia Cohen

The Gallery at 48 Natoma in Folsom is honored to exhibit fantastic artwork by Claudia Cohen.

California Bay Area artist Claudia Cohen brings a sense of surrealism to many of the bronze and ceramic sculpture she forms. Her recent paintings bring a similar narrative vision to another dimension. Claudia’s works bring to life human nature in ways that deconstruct pre-conceived notions about humanity and stimulates the observer’s imagination. Described as comic-surrealism, her style blends objective reality with mythology and flights of fancy with reference to classic art history.

In the adjacent Community Gallery at 48 Natoma, advanced student work from Folsom High School Studio Art Class Show will be on display. Instructor Jeff Carter has been an award-winning teacher of the arts program at this school, his students have gone on to receive many accolades and awards.
