Slothrust

Slothrust consists of vocalist and guitarist Leah Wellbaum, bassist Brooks Allison, and drummer Will Gorin. From 2010-2021 the bassist was Kyle Bann. Wellbaum and Gorin first began collaborating as students at Sarah Lawrence College. After performing in various school groups, the two joined to create music with a “heavier” sound. In search for a bassist, Bann later joined the band. On August 13, 2021 they announced that Kyle Bann was no longer with Slothrust and on September 1, they announced they would be touring with bassist Brooks Allison. The band has released five albums.
