Social Constructionism and The Alchemist Art Show

Erik Hosino is a Sacramento painter and Sacramento City College alumni whose work is as vibrant as it is mysterious. Equality, empathy, and satire are a few themes in this current body of work that examines a variety of topics, including social constructionism.

Lani Johnson's ("The Alchemist") works are magical vignettes. He crafts bits of organic material and metal, re-envisioning them as windows into a miniature world.
