Spirit Wings

Spirit Wings is a walking art adventure. Seven beautiful sculptures are sprinkled along a one-mile stretch of K Street in downtown Sacramento. You can start the walk at the Delta King in the Old Sacramento Waterfront or at the northeast exit to the Hyatt Sacramento, kitty-corner from the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. The sculptures progress from Old Sacramento Eastward, but the experience is just as fun starting at 13th and K Street and walking West.

The art walk is like a treasure hunt. They do not publish the exact locations of each sculpture, the fun is the journey and delight of discovery when you find each Spirit Wings piece. You can start at any point between Front Street and Thirteenth Street along K Street. Just walk out of your hotel, office building, or restaurant and start exploring.

As you search for each sculpture, take in all the sights and shops. There are hundreds of unique small businesses to shop or dine at along the way and historic buildings or vibrant murals around nearly every corner.
