Explore the history and imagery of the Transcontinental Railroad in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the driving of the Golden Spike. After a workshop at the California State Railroad Museum, head to the Crocker to view The Race to Promontory: The Transcontinental Railroad and the American West and enjoy an integration workshop featuring strategies for using visual imagery in your history curriculum.
