The Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet

Vox Musica has invited the internationally acclaimed Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet back for another season of performances in Sacramento. The Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet, formed in 1939, is one of Russia’s iconic professional string ensembles. You do not want to miss the stunning sounds of this world famous quartet. The quartet will perform String Quartet No. 1 (“From My Life”) by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana, Schostakovich’s Quartet n.3, and they will accompany Vox Musica on John Tavener’s The Bridegroom.
