Wellness Breakfast: Meet and Greet Your Brain

Arden Fair and Eskaton will host a Health and Wellness Breakfast in the Food Court at Arden Fair Mall for seniors. The topic will be “Meet and Greet Your Brain.”

This brain fitness workshop led by The Brain Gymnasium founder Michael Hirsch, a Behavioral Scientist and former faculty of UC Davis, will teach fun and rewarding techniques to sharpen one’s brain. He will share brain training activities that are intensive and repetitive, and when done purposefully can progressively improve cognitive aptitude. Hirsch developed The Brain Gymnasium sixteen years ago and since then has brought his program to local senior communities including Eskaton.

In addition to the workshop, a complimentary breakfast will be served as well as free cholesterol and glucose screenings.

Each Health and Wellness Breakfast is a part of Inside Track, sponsored by Eskaton. Inside Track is a health and community-driven mall-walking program designed to encourage safe exercise and unity at Arden Fair. The events focus on providing health education to participants through presentations designed to explore what is means to age gracefully and surround yourself with a caring atmosphere.
