Wilderness and Remote First Aid Class

Looking for a Wilderness and Remote First Aid class in Sacramento? Look no further! In this two-day class, you will gain the proper tools and knowledge to handle a wilderness first aid emergency. The emphasis of the class is on making good decisions by staying calm and safe, doing a good patient assessment, and developing good communication and leadership skills.

In addition to a half-day of outdoor scenario practice of first aid and leadership skills, this class focuses on practicing patient assessment, shock and bleeding, head and spinal injuries, wounds, musculoskeletal injuries, heat and cold illnesses, and much more. Successful completion of class includes a two-year American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid certificate.
