SacAnime Summer 2017
Sacramento Convention Center
September 1-3 | Fri &Sat 10am-Midnight; Sun 10am-6pm
Experience pop culture with an anime twist! Learn swordsmanship from Adrien Paul, meet Keisha Castle-Hughes from Game of Thrones, or get autographs from Courtney Taylor from OK K.O.! The list is endless at this Anime wonderland taking place within the well air-conditioned halls of the Sacramento Convention Center.
Hornblower Sacramento Gold Rush Days River Cruises

September 1-4 | Fri & Mon 1pm, 2:30pm & 4pm; Sat &Sun 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm & 4pm
With the blazing heat, some river time will make for a nice, cool break this weekend! Add that with some Gold Rush history narration, coloring activities for kids, and some refreshing cocktails, these cruises make for afternoons of all-around fun!
Gold Rush Days
September 2-4 | Sat &Sun 11am-7pm; Mon 11am-3pm
Turn back the clock to the 1850s and enjoy the Gold Rush era in the historic district with melodramas, musicians, gold panning, arts and crafts, pony express relays and so much more!
Chalk It Up Festival
September 2-4 | Sat-Mon 10am-6pm
Enjoy over 75 arts and crafts booths and nearly two dozen food vendors as you watch concrete sidewalks transform into colorful masterpieces before your eyes. There will be plenty of cool drinks and eats available to make each day peachy keen!
Sacramento Rainbow Festival
September 3 | Sun Noon-7pm
It doesn’t get more colorful than this! Top-notch live entertainment and vendors galore will make for a full day of dance, revelry and pride in ourselves and the LGBT community. Proceeds from the event will support The Jose Julio Sarria Scholarship Fund and other LGBT-focused educational grants.
