The 11th Annual Fire Spectacular: Walk on the Wild Side

Literally Sacramento’s hottest event of the year, despite some stiff competition from the recent summer weather, this family-friendly event features fire-based performances of every stretch of the imagination. Bring your flashlight and comfy shoes and grab a drink from a vendor, then get ready to experience fire eaters, fire dancers, and fire breathers, just to name a few.
Spark-off the night with a wood-fired pizza, and some beer or wine, inside the modern-minimalist setting of Masullo Pizza.
Sacramento Banana Festival: Jazz-A-Peel
August 11-12

Celebrate the many countries and cultures that use the banana at this family-focused fest featuring live world music and entertainment, exhibits, vendors, and much more!
Once you get your fruit fill, the Selland’s Market Café on Broadway offers a chance to sit back and enjoy one of Land Park’s most relaxing eateries.
Tales and Ales Fundraiser

Fairytale Town
Unlimited beer tastings — yes, you read that correctly! A multitude of local breweries will descend upon Fairytale Town in this all-ages fundraiser. Local food trucks and live music will round out what’s sure to be a very filling night.
Complete a spectacular outing by catching a late movie at the historic Tower Theatre.
