The Art Service Group (ASG) was formed in 1963 by dedicated volunteer Maude T. Polk. The group’s mission is to raise monies for the special needs of the Crocker Art Museum, as designated by the Museum Director. Since its initiation, ASG has raised more than $500,000 for the Museum. Sacramento Mayor Jimmie Yee presented a resolution honoring ASG for its support of the Crocker in June 2000.
Traditionally, ASG holds two annual fundraising events: Evaluation Days, which is held twice monthly
