Crockett-Deane Ballet Company

The Crockett-Deane Ballet Company and Deane Dance Center, established in 1994, is a premiere training resource in Sacramento. Their rich history of teaching with the Deane and Barbara Crockett syllabus and legacy has spanned more than 60 successful years. Artistic directors Barbara Crockett, Allyson Deane, Don Schwennesen, and Richard Shi continue the pre-professional training.

The mission is to build a dancer with a beautiful spirit within and without. We believe in the art of discipline, work ethic, focus, creativity, and support of one another. We believe in community service and guide our dancers by example. Dancers are personally guided to professional careers and universities.
