Friends of the Sacramento Public Library

The Friends of the Sacramento Public Library (FSPL) enthusiastically support the public library in the city and county of Sacramento.
The FSPL, including Branch Friends, is a volunteer, community-based organization. Its dual mission is to advocate for the Library and to provide funding for books and materials, programs and Library activities, primarily through selling discarded and donated books and materials. The FSPL run and operate The Book Den.

FSPL help to:
-support the library through the sale of donated and discarded books and materials
-provide support for programming for all ages–children, teens, and adults
-plan and staff the Friends system book sales
-advocate for the library with elected officials and within the community
