Located within two miles of the State Capitol and just across the I Street bridge in West Sacramento is the Jazzyblues Cafe. The Jazzyblue Cafe is located in the building of the Old Venetian Steak House owned by Bill and Gerry Pankey. The Venetian was sold and the name changed to the Westside Pub & Grill where it was the hot stop of the Lighthouse Golf Course community. The Westside Pub and Grill changed hands once more and was finally acquired by its current owners.

After much research, debate, and numerous ideas for names, the name of Jazzyblues was adopted. This was in part due to the owners’ love of music and art and in part because of the desire to make this establishment a place where the community would always feel welcomed–a place where one could relax, listen to good music, and enjoy good food. A place where any occasion was an occasion for celebration–this is the Jazzyblues Cafe!

We trust that once you’ve visited Jazzyblues, you’ll come back again and again; because "there’s nothing like a Jazzyblues experience!"
