K Street Venues

George Karpaty (of San Francisco’s Ruby Skye) has opened a trio of new entertainment venues on K Street. They consist of:

Pizza Rock: From creative gourmet pizzas paired with specialty cocktails and an extensive imported beer menu, Pizza Rock is the destination pizzeria!

Dive Bar: In direct contrast to its name, Dive Bar is a haven of cool and class in the middle of one of the nation’s most eclectic cities.

District 30 is posh, elegant, and has a comfortable environment. It is on par with some of the world’s hottest clubs from San Francisco to New York and Las Vegas to Miami.

As quoted from the Sacramento Business Journal ("New K Street venues ready to wow crowds," Dec 6): "The three bars show a level of detail unseen in Sacramento, such as Japanese wood finishes and chandeliers imported from Israel. Pizza Rock has a semi-tractor cab emerging from the wall above the bar and a ceiling mural depicting the “Creation of Rock,” a parody of Michelangelo’s mural adorning the Sistine Chapel. But Sacramento bar hoppers are probably most intrigued by Dive Bar with talk of mermaids and mermen splashing in the massive aquarium above the bar, which weighs in at about 110,000 pounds when filled."
