Kuumba Art Collective

The Kuumba Collective is an art gallery dedicated to exhibiting and selling art created by African American artists living in Sacramento. Marshall Bailey spearheaded the effort in 2008 to combine the talents of several black artists at various venues throughout north and downtown Sacramento. They called themselves the "The Kuumba Collective" (Kuumba is a Swahili word meaning "creativity").
