The North Sacramento Chamber of Commerce proudly represents North Sacramento, which includes: Point West, the Uptown District, Del Paso Heights, Robla, McClellan Park, and Hagginwood.
Point West is one of Sacramento’s best known business professional and retail hubs. It is home to the California Exposition Center which hosts California’s State Fair, and to Arden Fair Mall, Sacramento’s premier shopping center. Point West welcome’s visitors with many of Sacramento’s better hotels, like the Radisson, Doubletree, Hilton, and Mariott and some of the Region’s best restaurants, movie theaters and entertainment venues.
The Uptown District is a hip reinvestment area in Sacramento that used to be the main street (Del Paso Boulevard) and downtown of the former City of North Sacramento (until 1964). It is a part of Historic Highway 40, and home to the Police & Sheriff’s Memorial Park. Uptown has played an important role in Sacramento’s 2nd Saturday Art shows, and it is a destination point for its artsy and unique businesses, as well as it’s quaint small town charm. Del Paso Heights and Robla are two communities that serve neighborhoods going back to the early 1920s, and support McClellan Park (the former McClellan Air Force Base)–California’s unique corporate community and largest master planned community. Leadership for this community and its neighborhoods has always come from and through the North Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is the second oldest business group in the Capitol City and is comprised of business/property owners and professional leaders working together to develop, advance, and promote the local economy. For over 80 years, local business has relied on the Chamber to encourage a strong local economy, networking, building community, political action, and representing them to local government.
