Last year we attended the Steampunk Festival in Placerville, had a great time and I spoke with the head of the Sacramento Steampunk Society (SSS) at that time (name escapes me). I have contacts at Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown, CA. I think this would be a great venue for a family oriented steampunk event, (alcohol allowed with permit) with Historic Steam Train rides. If this
