Sacramento Weavers' & Spinners' Guild
The Guild’s purpose is to encourage growth in the arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing, by means of interchange of ideas, research and contact with experts in the field. The Guild presents members with the opportunity to meet and share through meetings, workshops, and lectures. The community is invited to an annual Open House and Sale where guild members demonstrate a variety of textile techniques as well as educate with displays of fibers, clothing, tapestries, baskets, and other textiles. This is the Saturday division of the guild.
The Sacramento Weavers & Spinners Guild is a member of the Conference of Northern California Handweavers. Different divisions meet on different days throughout the week.
