Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society

The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society (SSVMS) is a professional association representing physicians in all modes of practice and specialties as well as medical students, residents, and fellows. In continuous operation since 1860, SSVMS is the oldest medical society in California and represents nearly 3,000 physicians in El Dorado, Sacramento, and Yolo counties. The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society is dedicated to upholding the authority and autonomy of physicians in the delivery of professional and ethical medical care.
