U-CAN (United College Action Network) founded in 1988 by Dr. Alan H. Rowe provides leadership, services, and assistance to students who wish to gain enrollment in a four-year HBCU (Historically Black College or University). Since 1988 more than 36,000 students have received assistance from U-CAN. Additionally, more than 10,000 seniors have been accepted and 1,200 students have received scholarships. In total U-CAN has acquired more than $35,000,000 in scholarship monies on behalf of students.

College Preparedness Including SAT/ACT Testing,
Admission/Scholarship Eligibility Consultation,
Review of Transcripts,
Financial Aid & Scholarships,
Housing,
Personal Counseling/Support Services,
Black College Tour,
Leadership Development & Training,
Home Visits,
Annual College Fair with On-the-Spot Admissions & Scholarships,
End of School Year Networking,
Events, and
Visitations to Colleges

    My children are interested in HBCU however we live in Columbus, Ohio. Do you service Columbus, Ohio?
    If so my daughter is a freshman at Ohio State university and is looking at transferring to HBCU's. My son is a freshman in high school and we are looking at hbcu for him as well. Thank you for your time.
