Women's Wisdom Art
Women’s Wisdom Art (WWA) is a non-profit organization that teaches women to use the healing power of art to transform their lives. The art classes offered through the program help women in crisis regain their personal power, become more aware of their personal needs, and help them become responsible and productive in their community.
Women’s Wisdom Art, founded in 1990, offers a safe, nurturing environment for women of all backgrounds. Through the support of staff, volunteers, and fellow students, women are introduced to art and its healing properties. Women are able to realize their true potentials and learn the importance of imagination, control, patience, and emotional discipline. Women working together in an informal setting provide a warm comfortable place for artistic exploration. All women who wish to participate are welcome.
Women’s Wisdom Art accepts women from all backgrounds and walks of life. All supplies are provided, no experience necessary, no childcare available.
