The YMCA of Superior California was formed as a result of the merger of the Yolo county, Yuba-Sutter, Oroville, and Greater Sacramento YMCAs. They are the continuation of a 145 year legacy of providing programs and services that involve people of all ages throughout the region. The Y provides values-based programs for youth, teens, adults, and seniors at YMCA facilities and program sites throughout the region. They operate Bear Valley Y Camp, a High Sierra resident camp near Emigrant Gap.

The Y is committed to the ideal that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the Y’s programs, and their annual fundraising activities help in fulfilling that commitment. Funds raised in the local community stay in the local community. The YMCA of Superior California operates four service areas: Oroville, Sacramento, Yolo, and Feather River.
