Richie Lawrence’s musical backdrop creates the foundation for the varied genres that weave through his songs. When he moved to Los Angeles, he met Paul Lacques and together they formed a new wave polka music band called Rotondi; he toured the world with cowboy folk music purveyors, Horse Sense; he plied the Farmers Markets of the central California Valley with The Loose Acoustic Trio; he continues to tour and record with California’s alternative country brain trust, I See Hawks In LA; and has a renewed partnership with longtime friend and music cohort, Ray Bonneville.
