I am a poet, writer, storyteller, clothing designer, graphic artist, and visual artist working in pen & ink, watercolor, plaster, textiles, egg tempera, glair, collage, and mixed media. My work has been widely published, anthologized, received major awards (Bazzanella, Best in Show, Purchase) and is held in collections worldwide, including the Museum for Women in the Arts (Washington D.C.) and Sacramento City College (West Sacramento, CA).

I am on the advisory board of the I Street Press, have edited literary journals and magazines including Calaveras Station and Poetry Now, and I currently write the monthly column, "Book Talk" for Sacramento Press. My workshops on ink, fiction and poetry writing, revision, textiles, plaster, and clothing/accessory sewing and design fill quickly and are offered throughout the year at various locations throughout the greater Sacramento region. I co-hosted a reading series at the Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento, have hosted numerous poetry readings at the Sacramento Poetry Center, and am a much-sought-after poet and public speaker.

Recent exhibitions include Beatnik Studios, Kaneko Gallery, Crocker Art Museum, Blue Line Arts, Elliot Fouts and Poet's Gallery at the Sacramento Poetry Center. Recent publications include poetry at Pirene's Fountain, poetry and artwork in WTF and Sable and Quill, and poetry in FaultLines.
