Forget relying on your muscles, sexy legs, or even brains this Fourth of July. Let Sacramento365 help you win the game of celebrating this great country’s independence. Sacramento has a foray of events that will rekindle your patriotic spirit and offer dazzling ways to light up your days and nights. Since this year’s 4th falls on a Tuesday, there are even more days and ways to bring everyone together to keep that revolutionary spirit rolling!

All-American Summer Sizzle
Legion Post 521
July 1 | Sat Noon-4pm
I can’t think of anything more patriotic than honoring the children of our fallen soldiers post-September 11. This USO Classic-Americana-themed event will include live music by the Big River Band and jazzy blues ballads by Miss Lauren Wakefield, not to mention a car show and tons of favorite local vendors. Those who dress in 1940s or 1950s attire will get a free raffle ticket. All proceeds will benefit the Legacy Fund. This is a family-friendly event.

Folsom Pro Rodeo
Dan Russell Rodeo Arena
July 1-3 | Sat, Sun & Mon 6pm-9:45pm
This fun, family event will deliver a patriotic experience second to none. With stellar non-stop rodeo action, an American flag arriving by skydiver, mutton busting (seriously?!), and a spectacular fireworks display nightly, there will be entertainment for all.

Patriot Pub Crawl
Old Sacramento
July 3 | Mon 7pm-2am
What better way honor your country’s glory than by declaring your love for a good old fashioned pub crawl! Grab a crawl map, Old Sacramento Bars Passport and other patriotic goodies in front of the Sports Corner Cafe and let loose at various participating watering holes.

InterDependence Day
Southside Park
July 4 | Tues 10am-2pm
A California twist to Independence Day, this event will celebrate diversity and justice. Enjoy music by The Midnight Players, inspirational speeches, dancing, art, and great food all at the beautiful tree-lined Southside Park.

Raley Field’s Fourth on the Field
Raley Field
July 4 | Tues 6pm-10pm
Boom, boom, boom! Fireworks, food trucks, and fun will be had by all. Raley Field dominates with its world-class fireworks display and plenty of “down-on-the-farm” fun for kids. Adults can enjoy darts, ping-pong and beverages within the Western Health Advantage Legacy Club.

July 4th at Cal Expo
Cal Expo
July 4 | Tues 5pm-10pm
Bring the family, enjoy live music, have a picnic while watching the night skyline bright with one of the best fireworks displays in the city. While many can watch from surrounding areas, being inside the Grandstand offers the best views!
