Macy’s Theatre of Lights is part Christmas classic, part Sacramento history, and all dazzling entertainment for the whole family! A 19th-century winter wonderland comes to life in 20 minutes with a theatrical rendition of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” on the Old Sacramento Waterfront’s historic balconies.
Global Winter Wonderland 2018

For families still in need of illumination, Cal Expo’s Global Winter Wonderland is the perfect solution. Its highlights include lantern structures stretching up to 72-feet and a Chinese circus filled with acrobats and entertainers. Carnivals rides, delicious fair foods, and handmade crafts ensure a night of holiday fun for all!

Arguably the most bitter-sweet of Christmas tales, Jimmy Stewart’s performance explores the question, “What would the world be like without your presence?” The 1940’s film comes to the big screen at Crest Theatre giving hundreds of Sacramentans the opportunity to tear up in unison this holiday.
Pajama Christmas Eve

Free for the whole family, experience the most comfortable Christmas tradition without even changing out of your pajamas! The Sacramento Zoo makes Christmas Eve a bit more fun by adding bobcats and fruit bats to the holiday’s traditional lineup of reindeer.
