“The Newest Americans” offers a unique look at U.S. citizenship and the immigration process in the era of the Trump administration. The exhibit features portraits by Sam Comen and interviews by Michael Estrin capturing the experiences of 28 immigrants from 23 countries of origin, prompting discussion on America’s legacy as a nation of immigrants and the future of the American dream. Opening April 3 for the California Museum's participation in Photography Month Sacramento and continuing through July 8, 2018.
