The urban backdrop has helped define the artistic power of photography for as long as the medium has existed. "Still in the Streets" features the work of four generations of street photographers, from the 1930s until today.
In this exhibition, the streets provide a window into a vast array of human emotions. We see buildings, sidewalks, benches, parks; where the sympathetic eye of these photographers sees humor, love, distress and anger. This show presents a fascinating look at Sacramento, and America's cultural.
Note: This event is part of Photography Month Sacramento.
