In 2017, Keb’ Mo’ released TajMo, a collaborative album with the legendary Taj Mahal. The multi-generational duo went on to tour the US and Europe in support of their album; which has since earned a GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. They joined forces to go on tour and will be performing in Sacramento!

Though his career began more than four decades ago with American blues, Taj Mahal has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the world – west Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, the Hawaiian islands and so much more. What ties it all together is his insatiable interest in musical discovery. Over the years, his passion and curiosity have led him around the world, and the resulting global perspective is reflected in his music.

Selling over two million records, Keb' Mo' has performed at the White House, shared the stage with Blues and Rock legends, played at President Obama's Inaugural Ball, and continued to master his skills as a guitarist, singer, writer, and producer. His familiar and distinctive guitar sound can be heard in a variety of television and film projects including: Memphis Beat, Mike and Molly, Tin Cup, and One Fine Day.
