A rare musical and adventure comedy, The Blues Brothers stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as Joliet Jake and Elwood Blues, characters developed on Saturday Night Live 40 years ago. In a mad race across America, they happen upon some of the greatest soul, R&B, and blues singers, including James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and John Lee Hooker.
