Habits of Incredibly Happy People: Public Talk with Gen Rigpa

Habits of Incredibly Happy People: Public Talk with Gen Rigpa

Presented by Compassion Kadampa Buddhist Center at The Sofia Tsakopoulos Center for the Arts

We tend to think, "When X happens, I'll finally be happy." However, event-based happiness is always fleeting. True, lasting happiness is a state of mind. Learn to develop a joyful, light, and positive mind all the time by developing positive habits of mind.

Gen Kelsang Rigpa is an American Buddhist monk and close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. He has received lineageĀ blessings and oral transmissions directly from him. Gen Rigpa's heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone. He shows the joy of living a spiritual life and is an inspiring example of Buddhism in action.
