Patrick Devenny seemed to have it all – the star job, the perfect athlete’s body, and a sense of identity and purpose. One would never know by looking at him that during his career as a collegiate football player, and then Seattle Seahawks player for the NFL, that he was in the clutches of exercise bulimia. In this dark space, Patrick was forced to confront the greatest challenges and questions he faced as an athlete and a man.
