It's an exploration of poetry in California! Do you know that The California History Room at the California State Library has produced a California Poetry Research Guide? It's a wonderful resource for anyone wanting to learn more about poetry in California.

Featuring a compilation of books, collections, periodicals, and more, the California Poetry Research Guide shows the rich landscape of poetry in California. Reference Librarian Elena Smith with the California State Library will give an overview of this fascinating guide and all of the poetry resources available to you through the California History Room/California State Library!

After Elena’s discussion, actor Francois Battiste (Person of Interest, Ten Days in the Valley) will join for a workshop on what poets can learn from actors!
