The Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) Northern California Chapter is hosting the 10th Annual Sacramento Team HOPE Walk. Huntington's disease is a rare, fatal, genetic disorder that progressive destroys the nerve cells in the brain. There is no cure and it affects children and adults. It's like having ALS, Alzheimers, and Parkinson's at the same time. It devastates families for generations.
The Walk is at the River Walk Park (look for the Grand Staircase) in West Sacramento and is a beautiful walk along the Sacramento River. When you register before the Walk, a free lunch is provided.
Bring you dog on a leash, blankets to sit on the grass, and your money to purchase raffle tickets. There will be over 40 awesome raffle items.
